Microneedling is a safe and effective alternative to intense pulsed light (photofacials), microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser resurfacing and cosmetic injectibles. Microneedling is a non-ablative treatment that leaves the epidermis intact. The tiny needle punctures disappear within hours maintaining our natural barrier for protection. The recovery time is minimal and the results are very natural looking.

Microneedling does not damage the skin but causes a micro injury that the body recognizes and then repairs by removing old damaged collagen and replacing it with a new collagen matrix leading to a thicker, healthier skin over the course of several months. The natural healing process makes microneedling so effective and the results get better over time.

Your skin will appear and feel like a mild sunburn for 12-24 hours but will be visibly healed within 48 hours but the body will continue the healing process for several months which means the results will continue to improve over time as your body does the work for you.

For the first 48 hours, we recommend that you only use gentle, natural/organic products, clean with no chemicals, on your skin as it is very absorbent post microneedle procedure. We also advise you not to wear make up for the first 48 hours, always use a natural sunscreen (clean no chemicals) and avoid prolonged and direct exposure to sunlight for 5-7 days.
